Hi Guys I'm fortunate enough to own a Champagne bus, not that I knew what one was before purchasing this one. Anyhow whether you like them or not they are pretty scarce over here, I know of only a couple I think. Today driving past my house my Son saw an almost identical champagne bus to mine, he thought it was me so was waving like a looney lol. This bus was following a green and white pop top bay, I wondered if it was anyone on here or if any of you knew the owner. The bus passed my house around 11.30am and was heading towards Louth in Lincolnshire. It would be great to hear from another owner and perhaps get an idea of how many CE II's there are in the UK. Thanks Brian

I like these. I had a look at one before I bought the Landmark. I see one in Sheffield now and again.
I have actually learnt a lot from those links thanks, it's a shame they've stopped updating them but I still keep going back in case something new has been added
Thanks, I actually started a face book group to try and contact other owners. We have 50 members so far mostly in the States but they are a few Brits
https://www.facebook.com/groups/408675025987261 363 members in the original Champagne Edition fb group. weird that they won't let you join that grp? ! wtf. maybe messge the chap direct (if you can?)
I have been keeping records since i got my champagne 10 yrs ago - i have counted 21 UK champagnes so far. every time i see one on fb, or insta, car and classic, ebay or in person in make a note of the reg. and add it to my list rickyroo's bus on here (sadly no longer brown) was the first one i saw other than my own. @vinnyboy 's bus was / is also a CE but painted blue. @21Window on here also has/ had one. They're all 1978 "S" reg as far as i can see.
Yip still got my CE. Mines a T reg for some reason. Would be easy to paint brown again but i much prefer the blue for now.
