Great idea as most people don't eat enough fruit . Had a vegetable curry in Scotland and they put in Pineapples ,really wasn't expecting it but it tasted good . I have started to put Brussels sprouts in my chilli and no complaints so far !

Talking of pineapples, I've genuinely met the 'man from Del Monte' (their CEO anyway), only in passing mind, at an agricultural product launch event. He was introduced as the 'man who says yes', you could tell by the clenched teeth and fixed grin that he might have heard that before.
