As Above, very controversial subject here as usual, to me its a time to celebate how far we have come as a nation but others are hellbent on the past and the mistakes that were made
Blame the Brits. We don’t mind as we’re just minions it’s the aristocracy that carries that embarrassment! Happy Australia day
Happy Aussie day , celebrating the positives and how far you've moved on as a nation is the way forwards . Shame it rarely happens over here ! Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Nowt to do with the Brits. I blame the Romans with their imperialism. Coming over here like they owned the place. Cheeky sods!
At least those folks had the good sense to go back to Rome once they realised it was cold and damp here most of the time. Personally i think it all started to go wrong in 1066 - invaded by the French and they never left.
I like the concept of it being called Invasion Day...if only for that fact that Australia was actually there the day before this...
Of course. Cheap beer, a talk with my comrades and a ritual burning of the daily Mail at midnight before the retreat to the smoking den! Have you had your daily dose a chairman Boris today?
Fair point except the Normans came over here to avoid the French (who can blame them) and Oz is not cold and damp though I'm surprised the poisonous spiders didn't put them off.
To celebrate heres a pic of the worlds greatest living Aussie, his Lordship Sir Jon Brady Sent from my SM-A326B using Tapatalk
