Easy modification if you don't have two, 3-pin switches. I used a switch from a Mini and blanked off the master cylinder with bleed nipples.

What a pain. At least you got home without too much agro.

  4. Have you changed, removed or otherwise had work done on your exhaust, Sarah?

    The AUTODOC Pt No is
    24.3526-1900.0
I'll go and check the ATE boxes, hopefully their pt no will be present.

Possibly? I know nothing. They've been balanced, but it's possible I guess.
The exhaust was off when the engine was out. Worth checking the nuts are tightened tomorrow when I find my mojo. @MR SAM HODSON gave me some nice metal gasketty things so I'll be looking to see where they go at the same time

Well, with close to an hour delay near Oxford, it took a smidge over 4 hours, but I'm home and unpacked.
What a lovely techenders, as always!
Thanks to everyone who lent a hand in the fuel pressure regulator installation @Lasty @philntfc , and definitely the sliding window fitting @Flakey and @Beaver; and especially big thanks to everyone for making Dylan Dog's first techenders camping trip really lovely :)
September is in the diary already!

So I'm guessing it's not so easy with the 2 switch jobbie...

Thanks Gary. Don't bother to check the boxes it's ok:thumbsup:.
Coincidentally Vanorak emailed me the same number so that's a good enough cross reference.
4 ordered from AD and on their way. Hopefully to put this issue to bed once and for all.

Me & Em enjoyed our first trip down to TE. Got my rear interior light working and fitted the electronic module I'd been hoarding for 18 months... thanks for all the help with it, much appreciated. Stopped off in Sheffield for late lunch with some friends so along with a few petrol stops we finally arrived back in Edb by about 22:30...

I’m home and unpacked. 19.25 departure and a 21.58 arrival.
Drove the Fosse Way south until Gaydon where I picked up the M40. Not a bad route.

thanks to all for a lovely long weekend.
See y’all in a field somewhere

The slider was a doddle but the non slider was one of the tightest windows I’ve fitted, can’t believe how much bow we got on that glass without it shattering!
No wonder the old slider wouldn’t slide!

  16. Out of interest where did you purchase the ones that leaked and did they have a brand name at all?

It would still be easy but you'd lose the brake failure function that the two hydraulic switches provide. And for me the risk of the switches leaking far out weighed not having the light to tell me the brakes weren't working.
