I was in Australia for a month over Christmas and new year and missed some of the cold weather here. My daughter and family were left in the frozen North.
Bristol, it’s been snowing non stop since about seven o’clock and looks a treat outside with snow sticking to the trees etc etceterrraaaa. Not pitching / settling/ sticking on the roads so all is good. Looked rather picturesque out the bedroom window this morning. Mrs Ozziedog neglected to bring me up a cup of coffee before she headed off to work but I made the best of it and pulled the blinds up and jumped back in the sack and tried to catch a flake actually landing on a branch but not spotted one yet. Nice big corn flake sized snow tooooo Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,best get up in a minute or two.
Been snowing/sleeting most of the day here in Northampton but the stuff is so wet theres no evidence of it and it just looks wet
David Mellor cafe by Hathersage? Went for breakfast the other week. Nice but a bit pricey! Did you go on the factory tour? It’s very interesting and lovely old machinery to make the cutlery.
We were there last week, your right a bit pricey,we had lunch in the camper.you probably know he designed the traffic lights and the cutlery for 10 Downing Street.we also went open air swimming in the pool at at Heathersage ,23c my aunt fanny.
The factory tour was shut but in the cafe they have the tools he designed for Eclipse.i overheard a woman buying two coffee's and two sandwiches for £24.00
The type of snow that takes two hours to get to work and then hardly any students have made it in either.
