Ive been going to Leeds festival for around ten years now, it an ok show but the last one seemed just the same as the first and every one in between , with what i consider to be a moron constantly on the tannoy system , he must like the sound of his own voice, im sure the feeling would be mutual if he met me

But the tickets for 2023 are an enormous £65 plus a £2.12 booking fee , its big 25% plus increase on what has become a stagnent show .
I know its cheaper than a campsite but thats not the point here, its not a camp site , its a vw show. i know other shows will be the same but all other shows i go to have new things most years
i just made a comment on their facebook advert, its now dissapeared and i think they have blocked me ?

    well thats my rant

i dont think they want me to go , they have indeed blocked me on Facebook, i have used another account and i can see their advert but my comment has been deleted.

i wouldnt mind but the show does have traders but they charge them a fortune to stand, they should get their pitch for free as thay are the main reason many people go , without them theres no show

  4. And there's no racing without riders/drivers but they still pay for the privilege to entertain the masses who also pay to spectate...

Follow my shining example and go camping instead...

That said , I'll be going to VolksWorld tomorrow coz it's only around the corner and I can moan about how crap it is ....

I just paid £82 for 2 nights camping on a Camping and Caravanning Club site in April.

And I just spent £55 on a Rare Plants walk, a 2 1/2 hour guided tour by the head gardener for two people as a part of a group , with cake coffee and lunch at the Hilliers Arboretum.

So I dont think £65 is a lot for a weekend. While you werent looking things are getting more expensive.
