Who remembers this? I woke up suddenly with this in my head for some reason. I had to Google it as I wondered if I was imagining it! Apparently not It was a 15 min radio soap opera set in Hampstead and on daily on Radio 2 from 1969-1980. I reckon my mum used to have it on. I now want to listen to it immediately but would not be popular at this time, and also want to go back to sleep so will have to wait for the morning
Yep, I remember that, although I have no clue what it was about. Something Mum would've had on the radio in the kitchen whilst she did the washing up probably. Now I need to hear it again too....
Same here. Remember the programme but never really listened to it, it was in the days when I wouldn’t have anything to do with R2, it was “old people’s” listening
Radio 1 chart show on Sunday teatime, followed immediately by Sing Something Simple. That's when the sinking feeling set in - school in the morning.......
I know, if I turn R1 on these days by accident I find myself shouting “What is this sh**!” It’s almost a Pavlovian response
