Us southerners always underestimate the midges in Scotland especially around the lochs. I got to the tarn on Ben Nevis before the climate was cool enough to keep the little blighters at bay!
They did have a revolution over there ( they’re far more sensible than us at times) I think it was specifically about free parking if my memory serves me right!
