Same up here, but if they're "new" plates, isn't the location the first two letters? View attachment 110994
There is a chap in our village who has a new bog hopper with the plate BE57 TUP. I thought it was a bit forward but he explained his wife had BE57 EWE to make the pair. Farming humour!
Probably my car is KO08. But I’m sure this guys plates were from the previous round of ref numbers as deffo pre 2002
Do southern folk know what that means. Ie tup that is? Used to make me laugh when a cross came over and someone shouted “tup it” Btw I used to live just over the hill from Tups-arse!
See this is the type of reg plate that tickles me - That type of one you’re lumbered with . Literally just took this photo at the Petrol station
I used to have one that ended TLC. Never underestimate how much of a PITA "amusing" number plates can be.
Apologies...........i'll translate...... Bog Hopper - Land Rover Ewe - Female sheep Tup - Male sheep prized in the north for their large dangly bits and ability to service many ewes. Dangly bits - XXXXXX
Saw a green pop top bay on someone's drive in Bournemouth on Saturday, last part of the reg was 84Y. Looked ripe for restoration too.
