Today was blueberry harvest day. This was a bush I rescued from a skip 2 years ago as not much more than a half dead bunch of sparse twigs. I re-potted it in ericaceous compost, have been nurturing it ever since and today finally reaped the rewards - my first blueberries, 280g in total

 

Today's outing to Levisham. Only just got him warmed up. The belt up from Pickering did not seem to have any effect.
Fan shroud only just warm even labouring him in fourth. Maybe I should try across the Sierra Nevada next..

Most likely the last match we'll get to this season, but, boy what a game! England's outfielding was the best I've ever seen. Rashids caught and bowled was outstanding and we even cheered a Lancky when Livingstone cleared the new Emerald stand. It's a shame Pakistan didn't make it a closer game. As for the Pakistan supporters, it's always a pleasure to enjoy some cricket with them, brilliant atmosphere if you don't get the gang with the vuvuzelas next to you.
