Without googling it, it must be mid 60s; I was already in primary school. My Dad hadn't really got past 1871 in musical terms, so we didn't get modern music although I found he had a Chris Barber LP with Lonny Donegan doing Rock Island Line which I played to death. I had to discover all this music when I was much older so the chronology is completely awry in my head.
