First few bits done for Vic and Dan’s early Devon bay. A lovely pair of prototype bay seats in cream with orange piping. Can I keep these ones?!
Just spotted that you'd sent me a profile post which I don't seem to get notifications for. Sorry about that, I'll see if I can change my settings.
Some more upholstery for Vic and Dan’s prototype bay. 3/4 width bed and buddy seat upholstered to match the new front seats. Rear of the buddy seat finished up with poppers to attach it to the back rest as per the original Devon design.
So A while ago James did my seats, bed and a buddy seat. More recently he recovered two thermo mats to match the curtain fabric. Today I put some new rings in the thermo mats and put them up, to get the whole look. I said that I would add some pictures of the inside showing off all James hard work. It still needs a clean inside but I'm really pleased with the result. Jame's work and his work ethic are brilliant, I'm sure he needs no advertising as we have all seen his bus and the progress on his Baja, but would I recommend him? Yes, yes I would. So here are a few pictures of the interior and our wobbly monkey, just because, well it's a wobbly monkey, everyone loves a wobbly monkey. Thanks James, when the world allows, beers on me.
Vic and Dan picked up their new upholstery for their prototype bay today. They’ve only gone and fitted it already! A pleasure working on another local bay.
If you had done the front seats full plaid they would have looked like my dad’s golf trousers circa 1975. The way you did them would make them look cool in any car.
Some upholstery this week for Michel’s awesome Brazilian bay: Full width Rusty Lee bed cushions and cool box cushion upholstered in taupe fabric and yellow vinyl. This will make one cosy place to kick back in at the end of a summers day:
If something doesn’t fit we’ll make it fit. A before and after of a pair of retro carpets altered to fit in Jack’s awesome scooby powered Baja bug. This thing is a beast!
Starting on another TLB full interior trim, this time for @DavidE. First up a set of 9 door cards in powder blue and white.
