Yes he's all good completely back to normal now. I imagine going forward we will all need regular boosters including my dad. I imagine it will be the Pfizer.
She'll not thank me for mentioning it but MrsBm has got hers booked for next week It took a bit of doing with lots of poor connections to the web pages but patience prevailed. I guess they're busy...
I miss out by a month (i'll be 45 in May) so will have to wait another month or so according to the local news.
Is anyone taking advantage of the free lateral flow tests being offered now? I done one last night, and got the all clear.
I’ve got some now - I thought I’d use them before I go and visit my parents, and any other situation where I might be putting someone else at risk.
I would have, but they’re not being offered in Wales. Would have been nice to take a test so that I felt safer visiting my son & daughter in Birmingham, who I haven’t seen for over a year.
Bear in mind lateral flow tests are only around 60% accurate, there's a lot of false negatives with them.
Where are you getting those statistics? It’s 99% according to the government, who as you know, are totes honest... https://www.gov.uk/government/news/...-flow-tests-shows-specificity-of-at-least-999
