Same one as I've got, been fine since I fitted it (think a few others have it too). I'd imagine a meter is enough as you'll be able to reuse that length under the van too. I relocated the fuel filter to before the valve to prevent it from getting blocked:
Looks exactly the same as my one, apart from the colour. We can probably just insert a short length of new pipe to give us room to mount the solenoid, assuming the existing stuff is still in good condition, then trim any excess to fit I mounted mine with a couple of M3 or M4 bolts, can't recall which exactly, and lock washers.

On the bench trying to blow through it (off electrically so blocked) , turned manual 'tap' to the permanent 'open' position and you still couldn't blow through it.
If I recall correctly, the manual override keeps the valve open when there's no power. Disabling the MO allows the valve to close on the spring so it can only be opened when the solenoid is activated.
So how do you tell if you are in bypass mode? Lever pointing in direction of flow arrows? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Yes, lever in middle is solenoid mode, I think lever at either end is bypass, but you're relying on my ageing memory.
I've got one of these, but not fitted yet. On mine it has the flow direction on the inlet and outlet pipes and above it is the bypass lever with on/off indicated. In the on position, which points to the outlet side there is a free flow through - you can blow through to check. Off turns off the bypass.

I ended up with mine wired through from the front of the bus. When I fitted a rear fog light and an oil temperature sender, I ran a 4 core cable from the engine bay. I connected the solenoid to one of the spare cores. So at the front I have a fuse from the ignition switch , a semi hidden dim green LED showing whether the solenoid is powered. And more recently I added one of those little GPS tracker immobiliser boxes with its immobiliser switch in series, the LED still shows the output from the immobiliser to the solenoid valve so I know I have more than a float chamber of fuel left. I tried a simple RF proximity type immobiliser that relies on repeated transsmisions from a keyfob. That tended to fail on the road, and its just as well I could reach the defeat button while driving.. the LED turned off and I had to disable the immobiliser at 50mph on the M27.. I disabled it permanently then lost the keyfob. So with the TK720 immobiliser I can text my bus to lock the valve open. Tracking is 5MB of data a month, and a few shock alarm texts. I use a Traccar server running on my own computer to store tracklogs.
