My nephew and his girlfriend have just bought a house there! Why is it pronounced as though there are two ‘o’’s?
I began painting the outside of the lamb and fountain pub once and walked off after realising there was more work in it than the boss said.
It use to be spelt with more Os but the council realised it could save money on signage by dropping them. During Napoleonic times Frome was famous for its blue cloth for army uniforms

I'll be working in BTD (Dennis Maps) on Monday, installing new machines. Whilst it's in Frome iv'e just realised is not interesting, not even to me.
I once walked through Frome town centre in a tu-tu with about 15 blokes from my rugby team during a 7’s tournament there. I believe there’s a plaque dedicated to it outside the local haberdashery. Also, if you say Frome 3 times in front of a mirror, you become mayor of the town.
