  3. I first heard this on a compilation album (This is Sue) released in 69 , which I got from a charity shop in 79. Some great tracks and it still gets a spin regularly.

  10. No oi! Required, t'was a genuine possibly/maybe you could've been there - a real mecca for lovers of good music .
    Griffs Magic Theatre was/is legendary from the mid 80s, very good night had by all with great choonz and run by the slaves so no hassle ...

    Oh right, :D. I didn’t get to sunny Bradford til ‘95 though. It was all Maestros and McGuires on City Rd then :thumbsup:

  17. Yeah, she was a bit like "the mother hen" of the friends of yours, quite a character.
     
  18. I have a very vague recollection of meeting her a couple of times but can't have made much of an impression.
    The Beehive pub seems to ring a bell , I think she was 'performing' when a few of us were down there having a couple of beers and she came over for a chat .
