  2. Check your fuel hoses.

Bio ethanol hoses fitted from advanced fluid solutions today. Same stuff they're fitting into modern VW[IMG]

  3. I’d say the problem there is an ill-fitting hose clip that’s been done up way too tight...

  10. looks like the cog is lining up a bit high for the worm, could you mount it up the other way or will that hit the casting?
Other idea might be to file off a mm or 2 just to get better engagement

  11. No it's a MPH

@bump3r or @Spacecowboyuk might be able to help there though...

  12. . Looks a bit high but catches fine.. and yes catches the case other way round..and grub screw would be close to end of pin.. could take a mm off but more bother than it was worth as it works and you cant see it

Made this for my van to go just under the dash , it was a switch holder from a triumph herald but i cut a new piece of laminate for the middle and bought the bits off ebay , the sockets cost about a fiver . IMG_1181.JPG IMG_1182.JPG

  14. I’ve had this light for a while but finally got around to fitting it today, it’s rather bright, might have to go for a shorter length along the side

I seem to have broken it again.
Brakes were a bit poor the other day, now they are completelly non-servo.
Failed the pump, keep foot on brake, start engine test, no leaks in the vacuum hose, it's bust I'm sure.
It was the cheaper Brazil version, only 5 years old but I'll get another the same.

  16. Is it drinking your brake fluid?

    I haven't looked but I will before/if I drive it ... which I probably won't. I imagine the diaphram is split.

  18. There's a vid somewhere out there of a bloke whose diaphragm split, and slowly hoovered all the fluid out of his system. Quite impressive when he emptied the vac can out...

In that case I definitely won't be running the engine again. Cheapy replacement ordered from JK - £100.
Yucky job, sad design having to remove the M/C to get it changed.

  20. I’ve had more than enough fiddling with brakes for the time being. Servo works well, tho’ (although I know one barsteward union is weeping). Meh.
