Aren't the ends the same? I thought the 68 difference was only at the spindle end...blade fittings are universal types?
I don't think so, the blades are a different width for a start by what I remember. I've got some stored away and will check if I get time.
It has English number plates doesn't it... so is still registered in UK. Certainly not Italian plates. No importing to do is there? Just drive it back.
Looks like a 1000 mile drive back to the UK = at least 2 days (unless you're mental). At 25mpg that is 40gal petrol @ £5.50/gal that's at least £220 in fuel. Flights out, a few nights camping/in a hotel, meals etc and it's not looking so cheap.
As said, there are plenty of Bays for sale in the UK and with a 14k budget you should find a really good one, and you can see and try before you buy.
Thank you all for your replies. One actually came up over the weekend not far from where I live so I have paid a deposit and pick it up next week
https://www.justkampers.com/marketplace/advert/view/id/10544/ The lovely Duncan from @SundialCamperSpecialists came to have a look with me. Very excited, but now having to look through all the boring stuff like insurance and where to store it etc before the fun starts at the weekend!
Looks great and if 'the lovely Duncan ' says it's a good one it will be... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
