Been removing the old carb system today for an upgrade. Found a bunch of cheese screws, a linkage bushing from 1995 and this grommet:
ooooh i know that one the grommit is the type 4 engine rear fire wall that the copper fuel pipe passes through. got one off ebay - looks like no more!
That's the one but I have a regular flexible fuel hose going through it. Did some earlier models have metal pipes?
Dunno I just thought metal through it was safer than rubber ?? When I changed all the hoses a few years ago
