Hello from Manchester

  1. Hello!

Recently found this forum. Based in Manchester I'm becoming an increasingly frustrated wannabe buyer of a T2! Been interested to buy one for a couple of years now after renting one for a holiday, recently becoming more serious but becoming disenfranchised with finding one. Most of them seem to be down south!

    Anyway, hello all

    Welcome to the forum!

There are a few for sale on here in the classifieds dotted around.

Dunc at @SundialCamperSpecialists may know of something as he isn't too far from you.

Hello and welcome from down south!
Good luck with your search.... I think when I was looking years ago, they were all up north ;)

  10. Thanks for the welcome all!

I agree about driving round but it’s not the easiest time to be doing that at the moment. Also I feel like I may not know enough when I get there!

@davidoft i think 15k or under would be ideal. Don’t mind having a few bits to do but would ideally be usable straight away

@SundialCamperSpecialists Thank you for the email!

  13. I’ve no doubt it does but I think I’m feeling low on confidence in what I’m buying and don’t want to end up with a dud. Maybe I’m over thinking it I don’t know, just feels like a huge investment

Hi from over the hills in Derbyshire. I drove 1200 miles in February and June to find mine, and spoke to a load of people in the interim. You have to see a few to get an idea of what you want to compromise on. Good luck!

  17. Hi from West Lancashire - we might be selling ours next Spring. You are probably not far from me - - you can pop over and see mine with all its faults if you like - to give you an idea of what to look out for - no obligation @GTE88

  18. I traveled from Yorkshire to the South Coast to buy mine. You need to get the right bus!
If you don't like travelling, maybe buy a static caravan instead?

  19. Hey @cunny44 sorry I must have missed your message. That might be interesting yeah, whereabouts are you based?

  20. I am near Ormskirk in West Lancs on the A59
