TESA taped the front loom last week. A couple of pics of the "no spaghetti" before I put the dash top on.

Yep it is, thank you for the recommendation Snotts, I'd never heard of it before. Easy to use, sticks like Marmite to a blanket and looks proper I think. I bought an assorted box of the connectors off fleabay and used quite a few. Those three mean I can unplug the whole dash pod thingy once I've removed the speedo cable. Might be useful one day.

Got my interior light working so that it comes on when the doors open in one position, and stays on all the time in the other position (plus the OFF position of course) It was just either on or off.... because the two earth wires were the wrong way around. I love a simple solution :)

Ha! Sadly I think I may have now come to the end of my 'easy' list. Not sure I'm up to looking at the heater cables just yet! I may have to go back to my jigsaw.....

  9. When can you drive again and get out and about?

Hopefully by the end of the week, being sensible. Stitches are still a bit sore and not very stretchy so I'm not risking it; plus of course there's the inside stuff that got messed around with and stitched up. I would soooooo love to get to Keith's field this weekend as it looks like it's going to be a scorcher and a most fabulous TLB meet up, but it wouldn't be sensible, plus I'd feel obliged to go back to work afterwards, rather than having my last recovery week off. I can be patient. I can. honest

Its probably for the best, as otherwise you might end up overdoing it and being unable to get back home .
    See you at Techenders.

  15. Very sensible, you don't want to set yourself back now. Don't worry, we'll post up loads of pics from Keith's sunny field so you can see just what you're missing:D

Painted Major's roof bar uprights, touched some black up on one of the front suspension arms and put him back on the ground.

Made a start in cleaning all of the dust off the inside, neaten things up again :D
