I thought it was Saturday all day yesterday but, as I'm not going to the pub, or out for a meal, this isn't going to make a lot of difference to my life just now. Jenny is off to the hairdresser this afternoon though, and our Granddaughter is stopping overnight. I think that I'll let the hospitality folk get to grips with their new 'normal' before I venture over their thresholds.
Awaiting the fall out and broken windows in town later We have the whole country’s share of morons living locally
Super Saturday whey hey Curry night for us with a couple of White Rose Brewery IPA's, we aren't going to chance the pubs yet, let the loons get it out of their systems first. Probably give it a couple of weeks unless we venture out mid week.
Still another couple of weeks until madness returns up here, but we're now officially allowed to go further than 5 miles for leisure. I am off to Costco for some retail therapy
not the night to go out it will be like Kristalnacht in some towns. Green King pubs have wisely delayed their openings for a couple more days
Living on a high street, I am expecting NYE levels of richardheads fighting each other and jumping on parked cars later... I imagine the usual suspects will be 4 pints in by now in the local spoons...
I shall be avoiding pubs today, and not venturing out in my motor this evening. I managed to avoid driving through a shopping area today as apparently it’s rammed and lots of folk queuing for hair cuts, and probably the big weatherspoons.
She broke her wrist in the garden, Went to A&E.. and was monitored, had low oxygen saturation, Tested positive for C19 was put on a mild covid ward... Back home now, after perking up. She's 70+ but had one of her daughter's and maybe others in the house.. So much of it happening all through lockdown. A lot of people have proved to be blissfully ignorant, Therefore prolonging the pandemic..!
