I'm waiting for my three to surface, hopefully having written the cards that MrsP bought for them.....!

 

I've had a text from my eldest , always writes happy father's Day daddy, she's 40 lol

 

Got cards from my 2 sons - both in their 40s - plus a mug with photos of grandkids on it --AAAhhh!

 

My two have bought me a record (as in gramophone). I haven't seen them since before lockdown started. The problem with boys is they don't really do phones unless they are stuck with homework

 

Cider, chocolates and a dinner plate( don't ask) from Holly and Freddie and a card she's still working on later

 

Got the squashed bananas on toast in bed as requested, and a latte. Home made card and a bar of Cadbury’s from daughter, card from son

My wifes birthday took precedence.

I dont mind.. Chocolates and chocolate cake ..


Then a Caribbean featured meal with rum punch in the garden, more chocolates.

And theres a box of chocolate brownies I made.

Put up fixing brackets for the camper van awning on the back of the house , too windy for it.

As well as a card from the daughter (and another from the dog!) I had a mug, a large paella pan and some rhubarb and ginger dark chocolate. Also I only had to cook about half tonight's dinner, I did the slow cooked beef curry, she did the rice and homemade naans
