I'm waiting for my three to surface, hopefully having written the cards that MrsP bought for them.....!
My two have bought me a record (as in gramophone). I haven't seen them since before lockdown started. The problem with boys is they don't really do phones unless they are stuck with homework
Cider, chocolates and a dinner plate( don't ask) from Holly and Freddie and a card she's still working on later
Got the squashed bananas on toast in bed as requested, and a latte. Home made card and a bar of Cadbury’s from daughter, card from son
I got made a homemade Bakewell tart yesterday, amazingly there is some left. Went out for a bike ride before my daughter got up. Came back and she was on the phone to the NHS - she has not recovered fully from COVID that we had in March so she is having another test, so I'm taking her to Edgbaston Cricket Ground fir a drive thru test seems like we have to isolate till we get the result too Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
My wifes birthday took precedence. I dont mind.. Chocolates and chocolate cake .. Then a Caribbean featured meal with rum punch in the garden, more chocolates. And theres a box of chocolate brownies I made. Put up fixing brackets for the camper van awning on the back of the house , too windy for it. Card for my wifes birthday . Our cats. In typical pose...
As well as a card from the daughter (and another from the dog!) I had a mug, a large paella pan and some rhubarb and ginger dark chocolate. Also I only had to cook about half tonight's dinner, I did the slow cooked beef curry, she did the rice and homemade naans Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
It's the thought that counts! Could be worse - could have been "Condolences on your loss", crossed out
