    Call out to take gas fire out and remove a magpie that had fallen down the chimney. The magpie disappeared higher up so I couldn’t see it so left it to the customers. Judging by the amount of soot, and the bird skeleton underneath, I don’t think the fire had been serviced recently!

    The cat’s been staring at the valence boards under the kitchen units for a few days now.
    Yesterday I opened a draw to find holes chewed in things so I put some peanut butter in a humane mouse trap in the cupboard beneath it.

    Cat tipped me off this morning by staring through the cupboard door with her x-ray vision.
    Probably brought in as a toy that escaped, this fat fella gets a second chance!
