You’ll have to take some pics when you have it fitted. I’d be interested in look and sound.

The sound will be engine dependant. If you search the net of youtube you'll find the exact exhaust sounding completely different on each video.
There are some great short 35 sec clips on youtube with Mr Lee demonstrating them and also a stock Type4 exhaust which with your boot in it doesn't sound much different.

I keep looking at Evolve electric skateboards but I know it'd be impossible to rationalise the price to myself. Gutted!

What you're supposed to do is post-rationalisation, so you can buy it.
    Hope that helps. :)

The trouble is that in this scenario, I know I wouldn't be able to!
If I can see the money in something, I'll happily pay; but up to £1500 for a skateboard?

You're getting too old to survive falling off skateboards anyway.

  11. I did that with mine.. saw it going cheap used but hardly tell...stainless exhaust .. type 4 .. just listed .. couldn't pass up on it , nearly went on the tintop....then saw some had problems and said noisy..now on the dokka, but it isn't too noisy when running normally.. want to get on road and try it now but Mrs Deefer thinks I need to make sure it stops first...

    All a waste of money.

Now, a beach rod would make more sense.

I ‘want to need’, but I’m happy with what I’ve got.

  18. They look amazing, but do have a hefty price tag. Hard to justify for occasional use.
I saw someone on an elec skateboard in Greece a few years ago, i was well impressed, didn't know they even existed before that.
This one is less than a grand

    or
How about an e scooter for £300-400

  19. Those escooters look dangerous. Bloke passed me a couple of nights ago whilst I was walking the dog - on the main road (A59) - doing about 20mph - no lights wearing dark clothing -no protective gear - just asking for an accident.

  20. Yeah they need to put some rules in place. They are currently illegal to ride on roads & pavements
