No you are not thick nor stupid or anything else But now is not the time to gloat When people are penned up so to speak
I imagine that there may be some folk on this forum who's main abode is their van - van life and all that. She was my principal place of residence for a while. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
I have just spent two weeks painting me garage floor and going through old pots of paint to see if they have gone hard or not along with everyone else who isn't actually going out to do a vital job, I hope it will be all over by May
There’s nothing wrong with taking some time out on your own property, especially when it’s a 100 acre wood! Will Eeyore be there?
well funny you should say that I have just painted three quarters of a room and I ran out Had to order more at an extortionate price and I bet you had the colour I needed pieface
Normally yes, hopefully lock down permitted this year yes. We used to get around 10 T2s over the years they dwindled to be replaced by T5s, we were down to two Bays and a split last year.
Stopped for a lovely pub meal on the drive to our campsite. Lovely quiet canalside location with views out over the water Arrived just in time to see the sun setting over the canal Only drawback is the complete lack of 4g phone signal so pics will have to wait until morning
It’s a new ‘thing’. I can’t see it going away for a loooong. Time. Got to be realistic, it’s nice to look on the ‘bright side’, but I’m thinking that this will make or break mankind. No other way of putting it really.
And now back to reality (although everything I've posted above is factually correct) We had an essential trip to our local Sainsbury's for milk and bread. Stopped on our way back at a local pub that's doing (no contact) click and collect takeaway food (very tasty). As it was dry and sunny decided to take the camper. It's been parked up for months, needed tyres checking, and unlikely to be getting out much this year despite finally being finished, so thought a run would do her good. The "campsite" is the carpark for our moorings (live on a narrow boat) where Hatty is usually parked. Hatty is parked in a remote corner of the carpark, well away from where the other 2 moorers park, and as its secure and private, no chance of anyone passing so all good After 2 weeks self isolating I'm due to start back on nights tomorrow on front line ambulance, putting myself in the firing line. As my wife is now stuck at home on the boat most days with our daughter, and unable to take her out, I figured I'll never get any sleep there, so this is a trial run for me using Hatty to get some quiet sleep after my night shifts And I promised my wife and daughter that the first night camping when Hatty was finally finished would be as a family. With the perfect opportunity and weather I couldn't let them down could I!
