    hobby weld gas is expensive..:confused:
    get a better deal at BOC.. with a Y bottle ...

  5. Stopped using BOC because of the monthly bottle rentals adding up when I wasn’t doing much welding!
     
  6. Healths not so good but apart from that things are good.
    Looking forward to the spring so I can get back on the van.
     
  7. I get my gas from Parkers motor factors, rent free apart form initial bottle charge. 10litres is about £70 I think.

  9. £38 for 20l from BOC. But rent is an issue if not in regular use.
     
  10. The rent is around a £1 a week
    but the gas is at a much higher pressure,
    so there is much more in a bottle..
    You won't run out as often..;)

    I have sailed a boat where the owner decided to use that expanding for buoyancy.. trouble is its not closed cell foam so it works like a sponge. The once lightweight wooden boat became a soggy heavy mess..
     
  20. This was the last T3 i did. Not only rusty but slightly crashed and a non runner too. :(
