Latest I've seen.
To give some scale to what has happened here so far, international media outlets have been reporting the 2018 California fires burnt 2 million acres; the 2019 Amazon fires 2.2 million; and the 2019 Siberian fires 6.7 million.

So far Australia's 2019/20 fires have burnt 12 million acres.

It's getting closer but apart from a little bit of ash and a couple of burnt leaves, we keep wondering when it's coming.

They've been thinning and clearing brush in the woods here in Oregon over the last couple years. Fires every year that grow much larger than they used to.
Hoping you come out of this as well as possible.

I stay cool in lot's of situations, but I don't know how I would handle this. Looks like the fire will come from everywhere in seconds! Remind me the movie "Scorched".
What's behind my understanding is why there isn't international help offered or accepted?
