These from Machine 7 are E stamped, but the chrome probably won’t last long. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Classic-VW...-Bay-Side-Mirror-1968-79-Pair-E-/113326020775
And they’re listed on the Machine 7 website as a sale item. https://www.machine7.com/product.php?xProd=12770&xSec=919
Just had a reply... They've posted me wing mirrors without the E mark. I specifically asked for them with E mark no others. Why would a company send you something you didn't ask for?
Its finding them that's difficult. I'm looking at any wing mirrors (plastic black ones) that'll fit...just to pass MOT. Then I'll put mine back on.
Really ?? Mirrors need to carry an 'E' classification to pass an mot ?? The world has gone mad - it's a mirror ffs .... I'd take it to another mot station to be honest Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
I thought the EU law was that parts must be E marked approved for the year the vehicle was constructed?
Since the UK has received and implemented the same EU directive, it is clear to see that not all the bendy bananas from Brussels arrived on these shores, some clearly went elsewhere.
Its not the classic MOT. It passed it's MOT 2 months ago. This is an MOT for the final stage of getting it registered with Italian plates.
