You can see the southern sky is a bit pink, first sighting of the Aurora this winter. Taken last night and the ski-doo ride back from Charlotte Pass was bloody cold.
Your using a good tripod then. I don't think people realize how hard night shots are have you played with filters to knock out some of the light spectrum.
Lovely photo, are they stars up there? I live in the city of Kent where light pollution spoils any chance of taking sky photos.
