Heat Exchangers... where from?

    Slap some high temperature copper loaded silicone round in gaps away from the exhaust port end.. you will be surprised..I use it to stop mine rattling where the outer skins fret and rust..

    Burns off near the cylinder head but remains at the cooler end of the HX.

    They are from 127 industrial engine.

    Yep, had a pair on my old 411. They are just warm air boxes rather than heat exchangers, as type 4 cars had petrol heaters
