Slightly different angle on the theme this thread though. If my garage burnt down with all the hoarded crap that might be useful, I’d be a bit gutted no doubt. Collections are precious items, sure save the wife and kids, but then run back in and save the vinyl! The Marvel comic collection and my grandads hand carved walking sticks.
Any unusual designs of coins that I get in my change get put aside. I've amassed a little collection over the years. I'm not going to count the guitars and basses
5 bass guitars, 1 electric upright bass (EUB), 4 electric guitars (1 of which I made myself), 2 acoustics (a 6er and a knackered 12 string that I'll be making a new top for when I've finished the current build) Then my sons have another 3 basses and another electric between them It's not as many as some, but enough that it's difficult to find a home for any more
I would like a lot more guitars, we have seven between us currently but Mrs ST keeps saying .... " you don't need another guitar... you hardly play the ones you've got" I say "SO?" Sometimes my wife doesn't understand me!
Have you got one with the 2012 olympics on the back? I’ll buy it off you for a quid. I’ve got a bet with a mate to see who can find one first
Have you watched that collector chap on YouTube that gets £500 quid lots from the bank then motors through them like a machine gun to see if he can find a rare one you should it’s quite amazing ish
