Quay For My Car (Poole) 2nd August 2019

Anyone popping down? It's 30 seconds from my office so I don't really have an excuse not to, plus it's free parking on the quay.

 

I will be there (holidaying in Poole) but sadly without the bus. Been down for the last 3 years and always a nice event.

 

What happens at "Quay for My Car" is it a noisy event? I see it is on every Friday evening through the summer.

 

They run themed evenings pretty much every Friday yes. Just a free event on the quay, to quote their site:

"The Quay for my car event offers free entry onto the quayside for the car owners who fit the theme for that particular evening. With a stunning backdrop of Poole Quay and the harbour it is the perfect location for owners to show off their vehicles and for visitors to take in the amazing array of cars and stunning views." ​

 

I just wondered what the atmosphere was like and whether it would be suitable for taking a 9 year old too? We might be there in August when its TVR day, not that keen if its lots of people sitting there revving their engines

 

It's pretty chilled out (or was when I went last). I don't think they allow revving of engines so you should be fine.
