Florida? Looking for suggestions of car related things to go look at. I’ve googled for a bit and found some places. Anybody got any aircooled recommendations?
Went to Disney and the Gulf Coast in the 80's. The road down to the Keys over all the bridges looked good....but pre-teens wanted Mickey mouse!
Not aircooled. But if you are in Orlando then perhaps pay a visit to the old town part of Kissimmee. A couple of times a week they have a free car gathering where people bring along their old Americana. I actually missed it when I was there as the dates didn’t fall right for me, but my parents go regularly and even they enjoyed it. Type Kissimmee car show into google and you’ll get a full list of what’s on each week, import night, muscle night etc
Not car related, but a bit of a tip if you like food. There’s a couple of restaurants called Baharma Breeze. Ones on I Drive, ones more lake bueno vista area from memory. Once you’re bored of the normal diner type places, treat yourself to a night out at one of these. They are a little bit more expensive than the dennies type places but I’ve never had a bad meal in one. Boston lobster feast on I Drive is good if you like er lobster. Actually seafish in general. It’s an all you can eat place.
Been going every year since 92 usually for a month sometimes twice a year never stay in Orlando stay at Cape canaveral/cocoa beach
Been living in Florida on and off for the past 40 years,Know every corner of it. My drivers license is Florida..Which I got when I was 16. Still have relatives there actually. Currently in Germany. I don’t get your air cooled recommendation question. I did export a bus for someone on this website from Florida. What exactly are you looking for? You can find a really great bus deals there ...
We went Orlando last year. Never saw anything to do with AirCooled apart from the air con in our room.
Yeah when he said car related things to look at I don’t think he had Hertz in mind. You might wanna rethink that business doing tourist excursions
I lived in Florida Keys for a few years. Mostly Islamorada. Key largo And In key west. It gets really crowded in the vacation times and prices for places to stay can be very expensive. Bahia Honda park . Fun fact there is the most concentration of police in the United States in the Florida Keys which is Monroe County. Due to the fact that there’s not much land. And lots of stupid people. Also there’s the coral castle where this Lithuanian guy built the coeal castle . All by himself .
