i voted out but nigel , moggy or boris do not represent me I expected (HA!) a nice civilised withdrawl from the EU (a budding one state country) -complete with an amicable trade agreement because enforced intergration can lead to only one thing ask the former occupants of yugoslavia Apparently we are fast approaching a time when Boris will be our new strong willed pm showing Teresa how it should be done Boris " we are leaving on a hard brexit on WTO rules" parliament " no we're not" Boris " anyone else want to be PM"
Farage will use the Brexit party EU election campaign as a springboard to run in a general election and ultimately become PM, to then run Britain as a sharper version of the Trump populist, nationalistic government.
A few thoughts. (And questions) Its always a mistake to allow people you forgot to educate to vote! How come mps can have multiple votes and on the same thing and we cant? How come the tories can change their leader but we cant? Can somebody remind me what the vote was about and why. Why being the more important bit. Why is it the majority of us seem to think that we would some how be better off away from europe and their undemocratic political structure when our undemocratic political structure makes the europeans look pretty good just now.
Allow me.......... Its always a mistake to allow people you forgot to educate to vote! - nonsense middle class arrogant bullMarmite. Typical of a lot remainders I hear who somehow believe they are just a bit cleverer than those who voted to leave. Usually followed by some nonsense about how we need them to give us a second vote so they can save us from our own stupidity. How come mps can have multiple votes and on the same thing and we cant? - we can have multiple votes. We have a fixed term parliament act. You get to vote every five years How come the tories can change their leader but we cant? - cos you are voting for your local member of parliament in a first past the post system, not the prime minister. The leader of the party is elected by a different voting process and has nothing to do with your vote at a general election. If you want to change a party leader then you need to join that party to be able to vote. Can somebody remind me what the vote was about and why. Why being the more important bit. - it was a simple vote to decide whether we remained part of the European Union. It was required because, as was demonstrated by the result, the majority of people in this country at the time of the vote didn’t want to be a governed by the European Union. Why is it the majority of us seem to think that we would some how be better off away from europe and their undemocratic political structure when our undemocratic political structure makes the europeans look pretty good just now. - crucially we have the option to remove all our MPs by voting for someone else, there’s no option to remove the people that govern us from Brussels. I personally cant stand Donald Tusk or junker I’d happily see them fed into a car crusher, unfortunately I can’t vote for that and I can’t even vote for them not to control my county either.
Be careful what you wish for. Blindly follow this lying self-server and next thing you know he and his party will be running the UK. Just remember he and his corrupt mate, friend of Russia Arron Banks, want to bring US style paid-for healthcare into the UK. Of course we and all the other unhappy countries should be aiming to fix the direction of the EU - corporate tax rates, “ever closer union”, the poss Transatlantic Trade agreement between the EU and the United States etc. But that will not happen as long as the debate is stuck at a populist low point of ignorant, simplistic sound bites mingled with carefully-deployed jingoism and racial hatred. It’s not what my dad fought for in WW2. But if you want a present-day Oswald Mosley stirring up hatred and division while raking off squillions to his offshore account then by all means vote for this elitist privately-educated “man of the people” and we’ll all head back to the Thirties. That’s ME off the fence!
Always surprises me this one, the NHS, as we currently know it, will be the first lamb to be sacrificed for a US trade deal, but nobody in the pro Brexit parties seems to point this out. I wonder why not? The UK has no large scale heathcare services companies and the US giants can't wait to get access to the NHS market as part of a trade deal. I'll leave the rest for folk to work out themselves.
And if there is any escape, what this country will end up looking like after regaining its so-called sovereignty will be a cross between all the bad bits of Singapore and the US. Does anyone really fancy that?
Farage is a twunt. No doubt about it. That though ^^^ could be written about pretty much any politician.
"I think the salute goes something like this ... I'm not sure as I'm losing it fast." "That's ok Anne I'll just quietly guard the family jewels for now."
Is that the in out not sure what its all about party. Let's face it under comrade Corbyns leadership they have become a bit of a joke as opposed to providing the government with some proper opposition.
Don't forget that the Brexit party doesn't actually have a manifesto. Why would you vote for them when you have no idea how they'll vote on actual issues?
