Great turnout this year. Same old show though, maybe the new management will give it a bit of a boost.
It was nice to meet up some new folk - @Weasel and @mousey.
@pkrboo - I switched my Propex on when I got home, to count the number of flashes. Stupid thing fired up straight away.

I had a great time last night - overdid it as usual , the show was definately lacking but as long as terry doesn’t throw the towel in I’m pretty confident it will pull through, I got everything I needed and the savings from postage paid for the event and camping.

As Bern says - good to meet everyone , oh and @bernjb56 - my propex worked perfectly

It was indeed a great night, thoroughly enjoyed myself.

For me, the show and shine was a bit low on vehicles but the quality of those on display was great, some really nice VW's.

Brill night with a great bunch, will be keen to see how next years show pans out!

Nice to see you all again. Dazza’s fire pit was welcoming and well attended last night. Cheers Dazza.

Ditto the show, but it’s the first of the year and I am sure a lot of people were glad of their purchases after a long winter.

You’re van is brill. I’ve never seen a Riviera vista with the original interior before. Nice to meet you too.

  15. Anyway, i'm back home, was nice to catch up with people and visit a show as a punter.

I can wander round aimlessly looking at "stuff" for hours.

Didn't spend much money so that's a bonus too.

I think it’s on it’s last legs tbh. I had had it on charge before I set off.

It was great to meet up. Bought a "new" alternator for £30 in the swapmeet, got home after about 3 1/2 hours driving. Completed a lap of Brum over the weekend - in round the east out round the west.. all in all I think I drove about 350 miles.

Discovered the general state of knackeredness of my alternator and pulley had vibrated the strap off the alternator.. so i think I will buy it a new pulley too.

Still was doing 67 mph most of the way except up the Ridgeway hill on the A34 where it slowed to 50 mph.

Good times. See some of you at Volksworld, others at Techenders.
