I have suffered a personal tragedy.

My son has decided he would rather go to a party than spend the weekend with me.

    What should I do instead?????

Bugger. Just remembered I have a meeting in Kent on Friday arvo :-(

Easy. Take camper to meeting. Drink tea, talk business (whatever business Super Sleepingman does?), have nap if necessary, drive to field in Leicestershire, arrive in time for Doombar. Sort out anything else on Saturday.

Ah, well, are you sure? These cables can be a bit of a b*gger apparently ...
Think I might be doing a @Merlin Cat style smash and grab version, as in there for the day only, on Saturday ... Maybe the smaller issues and "a-bit'-of-a-look" at the heater controls?

  13. as long as the old heater cables come out they arent too bad to do tbh.

Take some string so you can pull that through as you pull the old ones out and use it to help pull the new ones in

Pull the old ones out from the front of the bus and pull the new ones on bits of string from the back of the bus

    I ko
I like the sound of that, thanks ... I was thinking about using the same "system" as I did for getting 50 metres of mains electric cable through a conduit into our garden ... Cable/strong nylon string/ball of tape + vacuum cleaner

  16. vacuum cleaner wont pull the heater cables in but if you attached the string to the old cable before you pull it out it does the job for you

That's what I was thinking ... if pulling cables out doesn't bring the string along with, I could vac it through if it has a "ball" on the end that's a smidge smaller than the tubing (?)
First thing is to find out what the temporary "fix" was to keep the vents open ......

  19. my guess is tie wraps at the valve end

    22. Dub and Dubber for misc "small" issues with locks, winders and lights ... and maybe heater controls if all the planets line up daytime Saturday :)
