They sort of do, they do a standard wheel with a space saver tyre collapses, would be a very old tyre and I don’t know if a new one would be available
Sounds about right. I’m guessing that’s the only way you could hope to get a wheel in the rear cupboard on a Malaga/Oxford interior?
Never thought about getting one in there, I think they are usually on the front, or perhaps under the cooker
Sounds about right but so is the cupboard on the Berlin and Campmobile deluxe and there's no chance of getting the spare in there! I'm sure @Clive Neilands Helsinki has the spare in a box on the front. Original Westfalia with a modified front bumper? That may be an option if you can find one...
They’re an acquired taste but I think the Helsinki wheel boxes look great! Saying that I thought the colour coded ones on Danbury’s were nice too. That is until they went watercooled & put colanders on the front...
Steady on pal... TLB will be more divided than Brexit camps if you start on us wheel-up-fronters.....
In fact I'm so incensed by the attitude of you "hiding your spares away in shame" that as at Agincourt, I hold aloft my spare in a circular salute and blow a raspberry Monty Python style at you all. I proudly display my ring and encourage all others to do the same!!!! so there.
C All good here..7 weeks at sea in Trinidad, will be off soon I hope! Getting updates from the welder doing my camper and its going good!
Take one of these This'll put a works worm in a can of spanners I didn't take a spare wheel ever Having different profile tyres I didn't see the point
