Flatted it back I might just use the last bit of fibreglass in the tin to raise the lowest area a touch more.
I think I’m going to buy a cheap one from Argos and just take it back for exchange every time it dies. I’ve used green scotchbrite to key up the low areas and popped any air bubbles in the fibreglass The first skim of normal filler has gone on.
Have you flatted that back too? I did it about 7 or 8 times on the rear 1/4 panels on my bug. Turned out OK in the end but my hands ached for days afterwards.
I’ve asked for all my parts back The builder told me he was sending them all back yesterday afternoon.
Flatted back again Need to buy some more filler because ive just been using a left over bit in an old tin.
It will never be perfect but as long as it keeps the weather out and doesn’t crack I can live with that.
I mixed the dregs of the filler tin with some xylene to thin it and remove The clumping Then gave the panel a skim Once it’s cured I’ll knock the top of it with 80 grit Then I’ll have to wait for my delivery of new long blocks and a new tin of filler.
