Louey and I helped push her out of the mud about 1pm Sunday, so she got away ok. Hope she had no dramas on her journey home.

I was the one in the silver t5
Seems it' ok on the long journeys. It' the short 20 yards in a muddy field it cant cope with .
Plus I found from the mud sticking that I have traction control ?

  11. I remembered what ASR stands for: Anti Slip Regulation

Cuts power to the wheel when it realises it is slipping.

Light on on thee dash means ASR is off. Default is light off, ASR is on. If you see the light flashing it means it is activated, as in a wheel is slipping.

You should have reversed out! That’s how I got my T4 out when it started sticking going forwards. :)

  17. It was 10am and the ground kept moving, not my fault!
Though joe did have to zip my jacket up on the way across the field, it was all a bit beyond me :D

I don't have TLB on my phone, and i've just logged on pc.
By the time I'd got home and de-mudded , then defrosted all my limbs and fell asleep on the sofa :oops:

Yes got home ok, had one misfire/hesitation.
I tried driving it harder/more revvy as suggested by @davidoft @Flakey
Does Not go faster than 50 in 3rd, 35 in 2nd
still felt sluggish/slower the hotter it got.:(

I'm extremely grateful to you all for your help and advice

and to @mikedjames for testing my compression in the rain
to who ever let us use their gas tester albeit strange readings....and failing the breathalyzer, lol o_O
and to all of you for tolerating my anxious babbling.

It was a great weekend, and I thank you all for your kindness.
I feel humbled to have met such nice people.

  20. Finally unpacked the bus. I seem to have acquired a lot of mud, some dodgy memories and a need to sleep for a week.

Thank you to all for a fabulous time, apologies to some (just because there’s usually some apologies to make) and thanks for all the comments on my dodgy bodywork. Some of them were just plain rude, maybe next time keep it to just on the bus, eh?

I’m definitely going to get my steering and brakes looked at and drive the thing more this year.
