Can take to Techenders or pick up from south Norfolk near A11 One pair of front KYB Excel-G (was called GR2) gas shocks. Never used and sat in garage for a couple of years. The bushes that are fitted had too large holes for my bus so I bought the correct ones which are also supplied. You will need to use your original metal bolt tubes. 385/245mm £40
Lowered. There is a table somewhere that shows you how to calculate your shock height. My bus is lowered by at least a couple of inches and these would be fine. They are listed on VWH site under lowered.
Probably no good for me. Mines lower than standard but not by design. Weak springs possibly.... who knows. It doesnt have bump stops so occasional rubbage on speed humps etc. Might need coil overs . Shocks passed mot but s em weak to me as it hasnt always rubbed.
Coil overs are not a good idea as it transfers the weight to the shock towers which they are not designed for. If your beam is getting on a bit then it could be catastrophic.
I don’t pal. I’m in Bury, Gtr Manchester if anyone is fairly local? Failing that I’m unfortunately up and down the M6 with surprising regularity.
@Lord Congi Spot on, if you can get them back to Manchester that would be great. I'm in Lowercroft, the Bolton side of Bury.
I use coil-over dampers to stiffen the front suspension slightly. With 100lb springs the additional load on the damper tower is insignificant. https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=5244 with https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=13243
