We are going through this at the moment, my step son is being bullied at school, my wife is going to his school for a meeting I told my step son to follow him home and when he’s on his own lay into him and really hurt him, apparently I live in a different world and you can’t do that , between you and me if this carry’s on I’m going to pay his dad a visit and I’ll bully him
Kids can be crueller than they ever realise unless they become the victim. My missus was ragged mercilessly for looking different and being clever and it took me years to really understand just how harmful it was. Hope it gets sorted mate. I remember a bully having a go at me once at school. I punched him in the head during class and sat down again and the teacher didn’t say a word He left me alone after that. Met him years later and he grew to feel the guilt of being a bully. Edited to add that I think In fact it was a lesson I learned myself at junior or middle school after picking on someone - another kid came up and gave me a bit of a well deserved duffing. Touchy subject eh. A friend of mine just launched a range of dresses called oriental oasis( jivedubbin , you will know who I mean), she got shot down in flames for using a rascist term. She could not be doing with the keyboard warriors and changed the name.On the other hand another friend from Japan is proud to call herself oriental. Anyway
I was in a Chinese restaurant once. I called the waiter over and said "Excuse me, but these noodles are rubbery" "Oh", he replied"I'm sorry about that Sir. I'll get them changed right away. I'll let chef know and we'll knock something off your bill too"
When I lived down South, I used to go to a chippy in Surbiton run by a Chinese couple. When the lady gave you your chips and asked you "Salt and vinegar?" it always came out as "Sore finger?"
I had a mate cawwd paww who had one of the first Chinese takeaways in Eastbourne , we used to take him fishing and prawning ,his fave saying was aaaawww so biggg we used to take the pee , he’s a multimillionaire now but we still have a welly good warf when we meet .
Used to frequent a chinese in Lancaster in student days. The parents couldn't speak a word of English but their little lad spoke broad Lancashire!
Reminds me off my school mate, Laurie Shing, when someone asked when did his family come to Australia? He replied 1852, when did your family arrive?
