Lot of issues mate. plantar fasciitis. osteoarthritis in toes and now having treatment for instep pain. Bascially they're ruined from years of sports, bad shoes, hiking and old aged mate. Hoping to get them sorted for this summer's coastal path walk. It's only 40 miles, but it might as well be 4000 atm

  3. Oh dear
Hopefully you can get them improved over time.

Stunning day at Llandegla, ground was frozen solid and riding brilliantly, better than a dry summers day

  10. Traipse around Grimmwith reservoir tonight. 4 and a half miles in nearly 2 hours, due to the Loony Lurcher getting stuck in snowdrifts , ratting, rabbiting and pheasanting and generally being completely wired due to the above. Nacked knee in again ffs. Could've been anywhere, 20 yard viz, the drive back over Greenhow was interesting.

  15. Running capability slips away so fast I find
If your going out every other day your fine
As soon as you miss a few days you seem to be flying back to the beginning

    I’ve a sore knee for yesterday’s effort
And my groin is a bit tender
It’s my own fault for not running for nearly a week
    Then breaking the 10% rule

My Fitness is up to it
    I felt fine
I need to give my body time to adapt back to it though

Slowly slowly catchy monkey my muscles need
    My head keeps wanting more

  16. 8 mile yomp up Great Whernside last night from Yarnbury to get the last of the good snow. Snowshoes packed, snow baskets on walking poles, head torch charged, that should be STILL CHARGING! 50 mile round trip. Bum!:mad::mad:At least the hound enjoys a ride out.

  17. Blinking flip, I hates that:( Like forgetting your MTB shoes when running eggbeaters

  19. I can see how the running is doing you the world of good both mentally and emotionally. Please take care not to overdo it physically. It would be so upsetting to see you rocked back. Take care mate.

  20. Twice this week, making it twice this year I've been on a bike, only 10 weeks to the sportive I'm doing, still getting to grips with my new turbo trainer, the speed reads a bit high.
