Ere Do you sell or don't you? That's the thing I don't use it much now and it costs money to keep it doing nothing, £160 pm for storage Then you think once it's gone it's gone 24 years in What is it about these things that makes you think you should keep it and push notes through the shredder ? Crazy things these Oh and what about that empty drive thing Oh man no
Mine’s in the garage. Empty garage syndrome harder to resist than empty drive I reckon, so it’s cheaper to keep it in there, otherwise who knows what I might end up with
Saw this and thought of you https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-VW-...821514?hash=item3affce6cca:g:uIEAAOSwtKVacdAr
You will end up leaning stuff against it It's a slippery slope And then that motorbike matey from shed and buried Will come round and offer you £300 for it
^^^ as above, why don’t you just use it? You’ve loved it enough to keep it 24 years, what’s changed? Just get out there and run it around the lovely New Forest at every opportunity, go camping, use it !!!!!
This sort of thing you mean? Like I have more money than I can shake a stick at Nah like I said I don't use it I would rather let someone else have it It's just hard to let go And I don't have a Cat
Buy a new motorhome n see how many notes you will push thru the shredder when you drive it off their forecourt, then again when you take it back for a service and can’t find anywhere to park it in town or car parks . And use it even less than the one you’ve got now because you ......................... oh hang on a mo ,why not just get a roof terrace somewhere warm n drink pinacolardas till the sun goes down
Okay fair enough, I was only asking what had changed suddenly. Sell it if it no longer makes you happy to use it. And yes. Something like that film. Why not? You live in a beautiful part of the world (as do I), and sometimes it’s good just to get out and see it for absolutely no reason at all. But you can do that in or on anything, walking, riding, in your car, in your mates car.... or in a camper you’ve loved for 24 years, makes no odds. But you bothered to start this topic so you obviously want something from everyone on here. And in fairness you never said it was a financial thing, so whether you’ve got enough money to wave your stick at or not really wasn’t what I was getting at. Edit: oops, apologies, you did say it was costing £160 a month to store it, so there is the ongoing financial aspect.... that would make me cry too.
Why dont you sell it and buy a cheaper camper that you don't have to pay storage for, but can just leave parked outside? Thus you save £160 per month, still have a camper, and if it's outside rather than in storage you may be inclined to use it more.
Yes some of that is right I suppose However I don't want anything from anyone I have no intention of keeping it in storage for the hell of it I was merely saying how hard is to make the transition that's all really
Get rid of it ...you will know if you made the right decision in 3 to 4 days time ....if you regret that decision then buy another one for the same money you sold it for .
