You have classy friends. Do they love their visas?

  10. Obsessive.
At both a recent Cannock meet and one at the bubble car museum.
Chris came from Buckinghamshire in his 650 Visa, in preference to an E type, Citroen DS, Maserati biturbo, and a host of six cylinder Triumphs.

I want to be his friend :)

  12. Well that was fun,
Thanks to all my chums for joining in and reading my seasonal drivel.

I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a reasonable xmas and I'll share with you that fact that, "the word dashboard applied to a barrier of wood or leather fixed at the front of a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh to protect the driver from mud or other debris "dashed up" (thrown up) by the horses' hooves".

    Have a kool yule.

The French will all need Visas to come over here before too long..

I’d rather it were DS’s or XMs or those corrugated iron vans.

Citroen Visa... was the last car that ran into the back of my Marina..

Was blasting out of London in about 1988 down the A217 on a hot afternoon when for some reason I decided to stop at a roundabout instead of just lifting off .. A tired doctor following in his Visa failed to spot the change of pattern and hit my Marina hard.
However a bit of work with a hammer and some scrap lights and the £100 Marina was back on the road. Although the policeman a couple of weeks later didnt like the sweet wrapper indicator... I was able to honestly tell him that the scrappy was on his way the next day..

    Marina?
    Blasting?
I'm assuming you are using this in a facetious or sarcastic manner.

The marina.....what was that about? The only car where the radio faced away from you round a sort of corner on the dash!

Let's not forget how the front seats fully reclined and when slid fully forward it created the equivalent of a large bed.

The passenger had control of the stereo knob when we were driving........but after we parked up I had full control of all the on board equipment
