My dad has a Honda Goldwing Trike which has a leaky fuel tank, the tank cannot be removed from the trike due to the conversion, and its in a nasty place to weld. Any ideas? Petseal products need to be rolled around the tank and so won't work (AFAIK) - and we've tried an epoxy putty designed for petrol leaks which hasnt worked...
Its tricky - I'm not a welder myself, and the tank is leaking where the seam meets (the seem line runs vertically around the length of it). I will get it off to a specialist if need be, but was hoping for a quick fix.
Por advertise doing a tank sealer never used but sounded good. There rust treatments get good reviews so worth a read Sent from my SM-J320FN using Tapatalk
Some sort of liner treatement might be better http://www.dimecitycycles.com/red-kote-fuel-tank-sealer-liner.html you can brush it on...instead of sloshing...
