Too many bins.......one for main rubbish, one for recycling, one for garden cuttings, one for food waste and lastly a larger food waste bin for the separate bags of food waste. 5 bins in total!
Not enough bins why do I get the same size green waste bin as the guy over the Road who pays £500 a year less council tax than me has no front garden and a postage stamp for a rear garden yet when I cut my lawns I can't get it all in the bin drives me mad.
Snails living in the spout of my watering can and moved in to the trainers left overnight in the garden.Waitrose are charging a fortune for them but I can't give mine away
I pop out at nite when it's dark..to lock up ..and "water the veg".. I then reduce the number of slugs n snails around.. Snail go a few gardens down the road.. And slugs get a trim with sharp scissors..
Slug pubs are the answer, filled with cheap Lidls lager! they cant get enough of it before they get inebriated, fall in and drown ......all the neighbourhood slugs flock to my veg patch for it....... oh hold on, I see a slight flaw in my plan......
I ran out of cornflake packets to use as metalwork templates.... Had to drive to the in laws and raid their bin..
My first world problem. I have a perfectly good car with almost no rust and a galvanized body shell and only 126000 miles on the clock. And I am depressed because my rusty old camper .. is off the road and will cost maybe between four and six times what my car is worth to fix, if the guy is allowed to do it.. or else it will be winter before it goes somewhere for resto. I dont have the space to do it at home..
I think your problem is overkill. There is no need to use plasma cutters, angle grinders and chainsaws to open a bottle of milk. Just peel the top off with your fingers.
Where are you based, I've never seen or heard of crownfield cornflakes before !! Just the usual suspects Maybe I live too far north..................
My lovely veggie garden was hit by that storm we had the other night with hail stones the size of 50p coins. Runner beans were stripped of leaves and the flowers. and now the slugs are moving back in to feast on the mess. Out on slug patrol tonight with the trowel, chop chop.
