my wife and step son have been watching a stand up Peter Kaye DVD ,I've seen him in the car share and Phoenix nights, I just don't find the man funny in the slightest, am I alone
And there was me thinking I was the only person on earth who didn't get The Office, and doesn't find Ricky Gervais in the slightest bit funny. Suddenly I feel less alone As for Peter Kaye.... didn't watch Phoenix Nights, and not a big fan of Car Share. There was something else a year or so ago that I didn't mind, although for the life of me I can't remember what it was called so I guess it didnt make that big an impression! .....maybe I just have no sense of humour
I reckon Micky Flanagan is one of the funniest guys around at the moment. We're off to the Edinburgh Fringe again in August so will try and see a few less well known faces at that.
One man's meat ........ Love E Types - The Office was brilliant - and Peter Kaye is quite funny. --- PS - I stopped liking like Billy Connolly when he started thinking using the F word was funny - being Sir Billy makes him even less funny. .
I'll second the above. Mickey Flannigan? Now your talking. Must be one of the funniest blokes around at the moment. His "Thinking aloud" programe on TV was excellent. Had me in stitches. He seems to say (and not be afraid to say) what everyone is thinking (or is it just me thinking it????)
I saw him about 15 years ago...didn't stop laughing all the way through the show...however....he is a bit 'samey' nowadays
ive been away for a while, Peter Kaye is /was funny but now every time i see him i just think he is trying to moneyterise all he does and in it for the money and nothing else now, however no one has mentioned the detectorists are back on again , week 4 i think , simply just a good watch for half an hour each week
