Update. ENGINE - Running very sweet ATM. ELECTRICS - Sorted the non working sidelights, traced to a wire off at the back of fuse box. BODYWORK - Just spent a couple of hours filling where it was welded last year and used a nearly slightly closely matching rattle can to tidy her up for tomorrow. I think the grey primer was a closer match MOT - Tomorrow at 3pm. INSURANCE - Paid today on joint policy with the LT. Agreed value T25 £4600. LT £20K. £233.09. They were both up tomorrow. FINGERS - Crossed for engine and MOT.
Well, you try and buy another like that. I know where the other one is, but he won't be giving it away as it's still in the workshop it was made in and in worse condition than mine he says. He still wants upwards of £15k for it.
Welding all but done and today I replaced the radius arm outer bushes and inner sleeve. On closer examination they needed doing badly . Notice how the arm sits low. You need to remove the outer bush to see this. When you remove the sleeve use plenty of penetrating oil and a wrench The sleeve sits badly against the chassis and wears New and old side by side. You can see the wear You can see how it has worn though the bush and lip guide that holds it central. All renewed and back together now.
Went through the MOT today no problems. @Terrordales He was a man after your own heart. Ex biker and musician. I think he's doing something for cancer research. At least that's what he said was the reason for the pink bush
Had to do it. The Mrs was moaning about the LT not being used and all the dubs on the drive. I had to make a choice between the two. LT got the vote.
good money and cash always in the end I guess. at least you got to drive it while it was running sweet after you did all that work
Wow you got 20k to spend? I've got another car (number 7) the wife has given up nagging, she said "it is what it is"... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have kept the woodlander and sold the T25. Apparently I can, but have to keep room on the driver for visitors cars. That doesn't leave me much choice I still have 4 cars on it. It can handle 6 at a push.
